What we do

A focused mechanical-design practice — built into SSC's engineering DNA.

SSC 3D is the mechanical-design arm of Secure Shield Consulting. We lead 3D development and component design in CATIA V5, deliver technical solutions for complex DSM systems, and produce the same design-review analyses tier-one automotive plastics suppliers run before any mold is cut.

Our deliverables are tooling-ready: a complete bill of parts, a draft and thickness audit, every clip and fixation engineered, the assembly checked under interference, and 2D drawings that hold up to ISO scrutiny.

Lead 3D Development

Mechanical component design end-to-end in CATIA V5 — parts, surfaces, hybrid bodies, and full assemblies.

Technical Solutions

Custom engineering solutions for complex issues on new DSM systems — feasibility, tolerancing, design intent.

Technical Analyses

Client-ready presentations and design-review packs that support project gates and program reviews.

ISO 2D Drawings

Detailed 2D drawings produced in strict compliance with ISO drafting standards — dimensions, GD&T, sections, tolerances.

Our Process

A six-stage CATIA V5 design review.

The same pipeline we ran across the Door Cover, Wheel Cover and Wheel Spoiler programs — adapted to each part, never skipped.

Stage 01 / 06

Exploded View

We deliver a clear exploded view that names every component, its quantity, and how it relates to the assembly — the visual spine of the entire review.

Case Studies

Three real OEM design reviews.

Confidential client work — anonymized programs, real CATIA deliverables. Each was run through the same six-stage pipeline.

Door Cover

Full design review of an automotive door-cover assembly: exploded BOM, tooling-direction draft, multi-station thickness, every clip and fixation point, assembly interference, and a hinge-rotation simulation.

Tech & Standards

The workflow behind every release.

Not just CATIA — a discipline. Standards, naming, exports and quality checks are baked into the process so the file you receive is the one your tooling can use.

ISO Drafting

Interchange

Every part is exported into the formats your downstream tools speak — no one is locked out of the file.

Process discipline

Every release re-exports all four formats. Naming, units and origin are normalized — no surprises when files reach your CAM, CAE or 3D-print pipeline.
